Winter Coat.

I decided that I need a coat for winter. I found a nice pattern, perfect waterproof fabric and faux fur. I thought ‘It’s not going to be so hard, right?’. I didn’t know what I was signing up for…

Working with such thick fabric and faux fur makes it really difficult for the machine to sew. And on top of that, because of the waterproof layer I had to glue tape to every piece so that I could sew it at all. I won’t even mention matching the grid across all sections.

I was able to do it with the help of my amazing mentor, ms. Aga from the Madame Aga studio, but I’ve learnt that sewing super thick fabrics is really loud (way to loud for me).
