50’s Skirt

It was my second paying order. The design was supposed to be very 50s and that’s why I decided to make the skirt out of a full circle. Because I was already provided with a fabric I had to do a lot of calculations to know how big the circle must be. I had to count the needed radius but also take into consideration the ruffle which ended up being 10m long! I have never used that much math for sewing. I am overall really happy with the finished product because it looks how I intended, even the smallest details like making the print look nice on the front and the belt were a success.
